Position Description/Requirements
Responsibilities include:
o Provide electrical engineering primarily for the implementation of capital projects for industrial chemical plants and associated facilities as part of site engineering and construction work group.
o Determine methods and techniques within the confines of the company project execution methods and engineering standards to define, evaluate, design, procure, construct, validate, and assist start-up activities of capital projects.
o Provide broad knowledge of principles and precedence in electrical engineering and design, discipline coordination, related technical fields and the ability to work with different groups related with a project.
o Contribute additional support to maintenance and expense projects as needed, using technical proficiency to effectively implement and apply innovative improvements.
Qualifications include:
o A Bachelor-level degree in Electrical Engineering.
o 1
years project engineering or related electrical engineering experience.
o A broad background in and/or experience with several of the following electrical engineering power distribution areas including; motor power and control, HVAC controls, lighting systems design, as well as the integration of this equipment with process control systems.
o Experience with low and medium voltage switchgear, and/or substation design and equipment specification is preferred.
o Machine safety and/or industrial control panels design experience is preferred.
o Strong communication and facilitative skills.
o Strong technical skills, good troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
o A highly motivated self-starter who is quality oriented, organized, able to function in a team environment.
o Knowledge of NFPA 70, National Electrical Code and associated codes, DCS, PLC's, communications systems, automated systems, Six Sigma, project coordination and execution methods are preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
